Snooki recalls anorexia battle: I’ll never be anorexic again for my son’s sake

Did You Diet?

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi feels fantastic after maintaining her 50-pound weight loss for over six months, and said she’ll never become anorexic again because of her son.

Polizzi, who battled anorexia during high school, said she plans to continue with her healthy diet and workout regimen so she can remain a healthy mom.

”This is the best I’ve ever treated my body,” Snooki told Life & Style Jan. 13. “[Anorexia] has been on my mind though.

“Even before I started losing weight, I was like, ‘I hope I don’t go back to not eating again.’ But I’m never going back to anorexia again. I don’t want Lorenzo to see me go through that. It’s not going to happen.”

The 4-foot-9 Polizzi, who once tipped the scales at 146 pounds, lost 50 pounds just 11 months after giving birth to son Lorenzo (in August 2012) by following a 1,200-calorie-a-day diet and working out five to seven days a week.

Snooki, who now weighs a healthy 96 pounds, said her weight dropped to an anemic 80 pounds at the height of her anorexia.

”I became anorexic because of cheer-leading,” she said. “I wanted to be light so people could throw me up in the air. I got to the point where I only ate ice cubes, all day, for days in a row.”

Polizzi eventually overcame her eating disorder with the help of her parents, but then became overweight and unhealthy after binge-drinking and eating an all-junk-food diet while filming the “Jersey Shore.” Polizzi’s weight then fluctuated dramatically until she got pregnant.

During her pregnancy and after she became a mom, Snooki made a concerted effort to eat well, exercise regularly and cut back on drinking and partying. Polizzi discussed her post-baby weight loss, and how she juggles motherhood with TV stardom in her new book Baby Bumps: From Party Girl to Proud Mama.

Snooki is now fitter and happier than ever and has no plans to give up her health-conscious lifestyle. “I feel healthy,” she said. “I like everything [about my looks now]. I’m always in a good mood and I feel like that’s just because I feel great about myself.” From examiner.

Paula Abdul is suing a tanning salon, alleging an infra-red weight loss wrap she purchased from them gave her ‘second or third degree burns.’

In the lawsuit, the 51-year-old singer alleges she was ‘burned all over her body’ after visiting UVASUN West back in January 2012.

TMZ reports she purchased a SlimStar wrap treatment before going on to the tanning bed where she claims she suffered the burns ‘especially severe second or third degree burn on a portion of [her] left thigh.’

According to the company website, the Slimstar wrap ‘is a highly effective weight control, inch loss, pain management, detoxification system that is fast, easy, and effective.

‘It uses infra-red heat that penetrates twice as deep as other heat sources to target toxins and cellulite trapped in pockets below the surface of the skin.

‘The secret of the SlimStar system is the way that the deep heat therapy activates the function of natural enzymes and metabolism within the tissues.’

The treatment claims users can burn 1200 or more calories in one 50-minute session.

In court documents, Abdul claims she ‘lost work and required extensive follow-up care from doctors and surgeons,’ report Radar.

Her injuries are stated to have caused Abdul ‘great mental, physical and nervous strain, pain and suffering, and loss of earnings potential.

The documents add: ‘Paula Abdul will lose additional income in the future and lose additional time in the future at plaintiff’s occupation and profession.

‘Plaintiff has also sustained an impairment of earning capacity, adding to plaintiff’s further loss in an amount not known at this time.’

The lawsuit seeks general damages, medical and health care expenses report Radar.

Since leaving the U.S. X Factor back in 2012, Abdul went on to serve as a guest judge for So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing With The Stars.

Last October, Abdul was named as judge on the revived Australian version of So You Think You Can Dance. From dailymail.

Jessica Simpson looked incredible during her Jan. 7 interview on GMA with Lara Spencer, and then she showed off her dramatic post-baby weight loss in a form fitting little black dress on Twitter. Jessica looked significantly slimmed down in her GMA appearance and first live interview since the birth of her son, Ace Knute in June 2013. She has lost all the baby weight, and looks great! Jessica gave birth to Ace just 14 months after her daughter Maxwell, who is now 20 months old.

After the births of both of her children, Jessica used Weight Watchers to shed the baby weight. “I had already been on Weight Watchers, and I had already lost over 50 pounds” she explained about the birth of her daughter. It seems she has lost just as much weight after her son’s birth — we would never know she recently had two kids based on this photo! We love that she slipped right into a gorgeous black frock that showcases her curves.

Weight Watchers wasn’t the only way Jessica lost weight: she started walking and keeping active when her daughter Maxwell began walking. Jessica wants her daughter to look up to her as she gets older, which is part of what prompted her weight loss regimen with Weight Watchers rather than any other system. “I want [Maxwell] to look up to me and want to be like me. I don’t want to give her any false perception of what is real and what’s important,” she said of GMA of her daughter.
